EXEMPTIONS FROM REQUIRED INSTRUCTION

Policy Number:
Superintendent File: IMBB

Completion of the District’s required curriculum is a prerequisite for promotion or graduation. Nonetheless, there are occasions when it may be appropriate or even necessary to exempt a student from required instruction.  Exemptions, however, do not excuse a student from the total credit hours required for promotion or graduation, or from performing alternative work. Additional guidance regarding exemptions appears in Superintendent Regulation IMBB-R.
