Mission

To create a safe, supportive, and empowering educational community.

Vision

  • Provide a research based alternative educational setting for special education students with emotional disabilities who are temporarily unable to participate in their home school environment.
  • Offer an expanded curriculum using technology that will allow students to earn the required number of credits for graduation.
  • Provide alternative educational techniques and counseling which focus on life skills in an atmosphere that is non-threatening and respectful of the needs of individual students and their families.
Goals
  • Value all students as individuals with self-worth and potential.
  • Strive to create a safe environment where students can become aware of, and/or further develop, their educational potential.
  • Teach students the skills needed to interact positively with peers, adults, and the community as a whole.
  • Help students develop the technical skills needed to become contributing members of the workforce and society in general.
  • Provide supportive mental health services through individual and group processes.
