Registration packets will be mailed to you during the 3rd week of June. Please read all information carefully.
REGISTRATION CHECK IN
Check-In for Eighth Grade is Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 7:00am until 11:00am
Check-In for Seventh Grade is Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm.
PLEASE COME DURING THE ASSIGNED TIME ACCORDING TO THE FIRST LETTER OF YOUR STUDENTS LAST NAME.

At check in, schedules & supply lists will be picked up, school pictures will be taken, fees will be paid (credit cards may be used) and you will be able to tour the building.  Free and Reduced Lunch Program forms are optional.  If you are planning on purchasing a picture packet, school store items or paying lunch accounts, a separate check will be needed for each.
If you are unable to make this date, the late check in is Monday, August 4, 2008 from 3:00 - 5:30 pm.
Our summer hours are Monday - Thursday (8:30 am - 3:00 pm).  We are closed June30 - July 6.  Please call if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you at the check- in!

Please download the attached letter describing the required immunizations for the 2008-2009 school year. Students without the requirements will not be able to start school until met . Contact information for any questions you might have is provided in the letter.

Success in the Middle Program 


Mountain Ridge Middle School offers a summer program for incoming 7th and 8th grade students.  The program is called Success in the Middle (SIM) and it provides students with intensive instruction in reading, writing and mathematics.  The program also will address strategies for students in the areas of study skills, motivation, organization, positive life choices and familiarizes our incoming 7th graders with middle school expectations and procedures. Whether your student is at grade level, above grade level or below in some areas, their needs will be met. The dates for this summer program are July 21st to Aug 1st from 8:00 to 12:30.  Transportation is not provided by the district.
