Hey! Welcome to Read/Write Strategies! In this class we will work on the 8 Comprehension Strategies which are: Using Prior Knowledge, Asking Questions, Drawing Inferences, Identifying Importance, Monitoring and Repairing, Visualizing, Synthesizing, and Making Connections. We will use timed readings as well as personal choice reading to become better, more fluent readers. We will work on writing cohesive paragraphs as well. In addition, we will work on content area homework in order to use our reading strategies across all content.
