The eighth grade science curriculum is the study of physical science. This science course is lab-oriented with many different hands-on experiences in the learning of both physics and chemistry concepts. Some of the major topics we will be studying this year include forces and motion, properties of matter and energy, the states of matter, chemical and physical properties, and the periodic table of elements. The course emphasis is on formal lab write-ups that are formatted using the scientific method.
