Mrs. Gibson has been teaching for 23 years. She has taught kindergarten, first and second grades, and is now at Frontier Valley with our first grade team. She received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Northern Colorado, and completed her Master's Degree in 2002. Why does Mrs. Gibson love teaching? "I love kids and I love watching them learn. Helping kids seems to come naturally and I am thrilled to be able to make such a difference." And what about the school? "Frontier Valley is a warm, caring school where kids are nurtured and instructed to be their best. I love working here!" Mrs. Gibson enjoys reading and writing. She has written some short stories and poetry and published a book in 2011.  In her free time, Janice enjoys camping, hiking and church activities. Her husband, Greg, is a musician and a former teacher, and their daughter, Leah, is a eighth grader in the Cherry Creek schools.
