Hi, and welcome to Kindergarten! I am very excited to begin my seventh year of teaching kindergarten and I absolutely love it. I am a teacher with 26 years of experience and I have taught everything from pre-school to fourth grade as well as music and multi age classes. This is my tenth year at Saddle Ranch and my 15th year in Douglas County. Most of my experience is in first grade with 7 years experience. I have a BS degree in education from Stephen F. Austin University and a MA in The Diverse Learner, from the University of Phoenix. Even with all of this formal education, I think the thing that makes me a good teacher is the experience of raising my three children. I know the most important thing to my own children was feeling love, acceptance and encouragment from their teachers. Good years for my children were not only measured by how much they learned, but how much fun they had. It is my pledge to you, to love your children like my own, and to help instill in them a love for learning.
