This is my 7th year at Saddle Ranch Elementary and I have loved every minute of it!  I am very excited because this is my first year to teach technology.  It is a wonderful opportunity to be a life long learner, see the students grow in their technology skills and to get to know each SRE Mustang! We have such wonderful students!

Let me tell you a little about myself.  I was born in Louisiana, but grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  I graduated with my education degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana.  That clearly explains my southern accent and my love of country music! I have lived in Denver since 1996 and love the seasons and the weather!  A huge plus is that there are hardly any bugs here compared to the south where it is 'Bug of the Month Club'!!  I received my masters degree from Lesley University in Integrating Creative Arts into Curriculum which is where my love of technology began.

On a personal note, my husband teaches Special Ed in DPS.  He works with middle school students.  My 9 year old daughter is in fourth grade and our son is 3 1/2.  We also have Cooper, our very large and sweet Golden Retriever. Life with our family is always chopped full of adventures with family that lives in town or weekends in Grand Lake.  Football season is also a big deal so you can always find us watching the Broncos!  Go orange and blue!
