Language Arts
This course concentrates on reading, writing, and oral presentation to increase competency. Students will learn how to gather relevant information from a variety of texts including print, media, and technological sources. The appreciation and comprehension of fiction and nonfiction text will be addressed. Students will also demonstrate the understanding of process, purpose, and audience for writing, using organization, ideas, voice, word choice, sentence fluency, and conventions. |
