Welcome!

This is my 8th year teaching middle school!  I am married to Mr. McMurray, who teaches at Mesa Middle School in Castle Rock. We both used to live and teach in Las Vegas!

I received my undergraduate degree from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA, with a major in English and Theater, and a minor in Geology.  I worked for several years as a Stage Manager for college and community theatre productions.  I recently completed my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction (emphasis in Literacy) at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

I love to hike, camp, bike, rock climb, read, do yoga, watch movies and plays, and cook!  I am especially excited to be at Castle Rock Middle School, and am LOVING the staff and students here!
