Principal

Hello, Eldorado Parents and Students,

I am honored to be the Principal at Eldorado Elementary School, now in my second year at this wonderful learning community.  My journey in education formally began in 1989 in Aurora, Colorado as a fifth grade classroom teacher.  I spent ten wonderful years with Aurora Public Schools, mostly teaching fourth grade students.  In 1999, I received the opportunity to come to Douglas County Schools as the Assistant Principal of Trailblazer Elementary.  After four wonderful years of service there, I was appointed Principal of Larkspur Elementary in southern Douglas County.  In 2007, I was appointed the principalship of Eldorado Elementary and became a Proud Panther!  Here's a little information about me:

1962 - Born in Madras, India
1968 - Moved to Northern California
  1971 - Became a United States citizen
1980 - Graduated from High School in Modesto, California
1985 - Graduated from Biola University in LaMirada, California
1989 - Moved to Colorado, got married, and began teaching (What a year!)
1993 - My wife Debbie and I had the first of our three children
    (Marie-15, David-13, Anna-11)
1999 - Became an Assistant Principal at Trailblazer in DCSD
2003 - Became Principal of Larkspur Elementary School
2007 - Appointed Principal of Eldorado Elementary

Each day, I look forward to working alongside you as we seek to maintain a school where all children learn and grow in a motivating, joyful, and safe environment.  Our leadership team, Ms. Christine Jepsen - AP, Mrs. Jody Lawson - BRT, and myself, along with our wonderful staff are ready, willing, and motivated to serve.
