At Bear Canyon, we share the Douglas County School District's vision, which is to help students acquire the knowledge and abilities to be responsible citizens who contribute to society.      

Through the efforts of our wonderful students, dedicated staff, and involved community, we have developed a school where academic achievement, high expectations, individual student growth and responsible citizenship are honored.  The enthusiastic and positive approach at Bear Canyon has allowed us to create an outstanding learning environment for kids.  The BCE Staff are committed to providing students and their families access to an excellent educational experience.  We will continue build on the efforts of the past and strive for new goals in order to make Bear Canyon a great place to learn.
