TCAP is Coming!
The TCAP (Transitional Colorado Assessment Program), which replaces CSAP (Colorado State Assessment Program), will take place for 3rd through 6th grades in February and March. The intent of TCAP is to take a snapshot of student achievement and track growth in reading, writing, and math for 3rd - 6th graders, as well as in science for 5th graders. Below, please notice the dates for student testing. Third graders will test in the afternoon only, while 4th through 6th grades will have morning and afternoon testing sessions for most testing days. We ask that you make every effort to schedule appointments and planned absences outside of our testing window. Missed assessments result in make-up testing which can be stressful for students. We also ask that you help boost your student's success by ensuring that they get adequate rest and nutritious meals during the TCAP testing period.
- February 15th and 16th - 3rd Grade Reading TCAP
- February 17th, 20th, and 21st - Make-up testing for 3rd grade
- March 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, and 15th - 3rd through 6th grade TCAP for all content areas
- March 16, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd - Make-up testing for all grades
