For your convenience, Douglas County School District is now accepting online payments for student fees. This cannot be reached through parent portal but you may access ExpressLine Payments, or E-Payments, by clicking on the link below

Our goal at Rock Ridge Elementary is to educate all children and enable them to reach their full potential as life long learners, critical thinkers, and the leaders of tomorrow. In order to achieve this goal it will take the efforts of an entire team including our students, staff, parents, and community. We have set the expectation at Rock Ridge that every student be "Respectful, Responsible, and Ultimately Successful."

ALL VISITORS MUST PRESENT A VALID PICTURE ID ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES

We welcome visitors to our school. Because our primary objective is to provide a safe learning environment for our children, we ask that every visitor to our school stop at the front office. You will be asked to provide a driver's license that will be scanned and a custom nametag will be created for you to wear and also kept on file for return visits. Every staff member is asked to wear his or her district issued identification at all times while at Rock Ridge. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

Colorado Preschool Program

Applications will be available May 2010

The Colorado State General Assembly established the Colorado Preschool Program (CPP) to help families who, due to financial or situational circumstances, may be unable to provide a quality preschool experience for their child. Traumatic events (multiple moves, significant financial hardship, etc.), developmental risk factors which include language and social skill development, and family history will be considered. Eligibility will be based on level of need. For complete information on this program please click here.

Douglas County Check Policy

Beginning in May,2010, the check policy for Douglas County School District will change. Your personal checks are welcome with VALID IDENTIFICATION. If your check is returned by your bank, it may be represented electronically and you will be assessed a processing fee as allowed by law, pursuant to article 14 of title 12, C.R.S. This processing fee is $20.00, as cost of collection, plus twenty percent of the amount of the check or $20.00, whichever is more. The check writer is also responsible for all other collection costs including attorney's fees, court costs and taxes, as well as any other amounts allowed by law. When we use information from your check to make an electronic fund transfer, funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day you make your payment.
