Eldorado Pajama Prowl VI
Parent's Night Out
April 24, 2014 6:30pm - 11:00pm
The 6th Annual Eldorado Pajama Prowl, Night Out for Parents, will be an exciting event for everyone involved.  This is an opportunity for parents to have a night out, while your student(s) enjoy an evening of fun, under the supervision of our wonderful staff.  This year we are only able to offer the evening out, but not the overnight option.  But, not to worry, the overnight portion will return next year, in 2014-2015. For your child to be involved, you will need to return the registration forms with payment to the school office by Monday, April 14th.  Participating students will have a chance to eat dinner, play games and activities, watch a movie, visit with friends, listen to stories, and experience school in a whole new way!  To make this the best night possible, we want to remind everyone of a few important dates and times as well as basic expectations for the evening.
Important Dates and Times:
April 14

Permission slips and payments need to be returned to the Eldorado Main Office
(We encourage registration as soon as possible as number attending may be limited.)

Lego Donations for Our New Innovation Station

Eldorado Elementary School is creating an Innovation Station in our new Learning Commons. This will be an area in our current Library where students can plan, design and build their own Lego creations. Eldorado will need a very large supply of Legos and is asking our community for donations. If you have a Lego that is in good shape, no longer played with at home, and would like to donate to Eldorado, please bring it in. There will be a Lego Drop-Off tub in our Library. Thank you for your support!

Please drop off your donation in the Eldorado Library between 8:00am and 4:00pm Monday - Friday when school is in session from April 28th - June 5th.

Recycling at Eldorado

Did you know that Eldorado has been recycling materials (paper, card board, cans and bottles) since fall 2001?  We also recycle cell phones, deskjet printer cartridges and ink jet cartridges.  The Computer Lab is the collection point for Eldorado families to drop off use and unwanted cell phones and printer cartridges.  We do not accept TONER from printers.  Toner can be recycled with regular plastic bottles in our school's paper and bottle bin.

The recycled cell phones and ink cartridges are sent to Funding Factory to earn points to purchase computer peripherals for the Computer Lab and teachers.

See Mr. Henry in the Computer lab for more details.
