Dear Families of Cherokee Trail Elementary,
It is a pleasure to welcome you to a new year at Cherokee Trail Elementary School.
Our school is an excellent learning community staffed by individuals dedicated to creating a positive school environment in which the goal is success for all students. We need and appreciate your active involvement and participation to make your child's experience here memorable and complete. We welcome your questions so that we may help your child achieve his/her full potential.
This year we will continue to focus our efforts on the dream. CTE improved in 10 out of 13 areas on CSAP putting us in the higher growth, high achievement quadrant in reading, math and writing according to CDE. We will look to this data, once again, to identify our strengths and weaknesses. We will then develop strategies and goals to bridge the weaknesses so we can get closer to CTE's dream of exemplary student achievement.
Please feel free to contact us directly with any questions or concerns.

BE THE BRIDGE…
DREAM. THINK. ACHIEVE.
Your problem is to bridge the gap which exists between where you are now and the goal you intend to reach. -Earl Nightingale

"At Cherokee Trail Elementary, we believe that the educational process is a partnership in learning among children, parents, staff and the community. Our goal is to shape children as thinkers and life-long learners, who, with a firm belief in themselves, and respect for others, strive to reach their maximum achievement potential."
