Students arriving to school after the 7:30 AM bell due to an appointment, are asked to bring a doctor's verification to the office to receive an excused tardy or absence.

SUMMER '09 ENRICHMENT CLASSES

Come join us this summer to sharpen your skills, learn new things, and have fun with your friends!


Football 101:  Strength and conditioning training for anyone who wants to improve

football skills.  The coaches will also review tips and tricks for success and how to stay eligible to play. This course is open to incoming 7th graders and incoming 8th graders.


Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31,   2-4 p.m.

Cost: $30.00

Minimum # of participants: 20

Summer Splash 2009!  Join MRMS's dynamic choir teacher for a week of music and fun!  Learn new songs and put on a great end-of-summer show!


Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31   1 - 4 p.m.

Performance: July 31, 6 p.m.

Cost: $30.00

Minimum # of participants: 10


Math:  This is a "refresher" math class, providing 10 hours of instruction in math basics and concepts.  It is designed to give students a boost as they head in to their 8th grade year.


Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31   10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Cost: $30.00

Minimum # of participants: 10

 

Language Arts/Reading: This is a "refresher" language arts and reading class, providing 10 hours of instruction in math basics and concepts.  It is designed to give students a boost as they head in to their 8th grade year.


Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31   12:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Cost: $30.00

Minimum # of participants: 10


Digital Photography:  A fun and educational class designed to give students a basic to intermediate knowledge of digital photography and the iphoto and keynote programs, whereby students will creatively use them to edit and enhance digital photos.  Students will bring photos from home and pull some from the internet to use for this class.  Come prepared with ten to twenty photos that you might like to edit (either on CD or flash drive).

Session 1:  Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Session 2: Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Cost: $30.00

Minimum # of participants: 10
