REGISTER TO TAKE THE PSAT/NMSQT
Attention all Ponderosa High School Juniors and Honors Level Sophomore Students and Parents:Registration for the PSAT will begin on Tuesday September 25, 2012. The cost is $20 through October 22, 2012. After that there will be a late fee of $5.00 through October 28, 2012.
The PSAT is a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT. It also gives you a chance to enter the National Merit Scholarship programs and gain access in college and career planning tools on the College Board Website. The PSAT measures -
*Critical Reading Skills
*Math probelm-solving skills
*Writing Skills
When: October 31, 2012 promptly to begin at 7:45 am
Where: Ponderosa High School
Who: All college bound junior and honors level sophomore students are encouraged to sign up and take the PSAT.
Why: Juniors must take the PSAT if they wish to qualify for National Merit Status. It is also great practice for the SAT and other standardized college entrance exams.
