Beginning today, in partnership with Douglas County, we will be recording vehicles parked in our fire lane. Our role is to ask you to honor the fire zone when dropping and picking up your children. Thanks for always parking in the lot so our emergency responders have access to our building when needed. |

Empowering beliefs are beliefs based on developing an internalized sense of control in kids, rather than to control them with rewards and punishment.
Arrowwood wants students to:
* Be responsible for owning and solving their own problems, with some guidance.
* Do more thinking than the adults
* Face logical consequences instead of punishment whenever possible
* Learn to make a connection between their infraction and the action taken - a logical connection
* Learn to make decisions and then live with the consequences of those decisions |

DCEF and Papa Johns working together for students!
The Douglas County Educational Foundation (DCEF) and Papa Johns have created yet another value added offer for all of our schools in Douglas County! The program itself, a part of the DCEF's Partnership Program, will enable our schools, employees and families to contribute funds to their schools, through a donation program that the Foundation and Papa Johns have created. The concept is very simple. When placing an order through www.PapaJohns.com or through a phone order, simply utilize our school code of AWOOD and .50 cents per order will be donated to Arrowwood, that's it! |
