The ETA addresses the technician shortages specific to the Information Technology and Electronic industries and creates a sustainable direct pipeline of home-grown highly trained workers to meet local demand. Colorado is not currently graduating the students to fill the high-skill, high-wage jobs in our region, specifically those in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields.  A recent report from the Labor Department showed that 90% of the fastest growing jobs in our economy require education beyond high school.  And nearly two-thirds of all the jobs created over the next decade will require a college degree.  However, only one-third of our citizens possess a degree.

Successful completion of the ETA classes will prepare you to enter the workforce and start your classes toward a degree.  You may sign up for individual modules within the program or the entire series of classes.

Youth Classes:
Daytime classes are for youth learners and will require one to two semesters of study to complete the program of study. Classes are located at TECH CENTER AT LEGEND and are open to all Colorado high school juniors and seniors.

Adult Classes:
Evening classes offered at TECH CENTER AT LEGEND are condensed and are geared toward adult learners. Class schedules are now available by contacting Susan Meek at 720-971-9830.
