The ETA addresses the technician shortages specific to the Information Technology and Electronic industries and creates a sustainable direct pipeline of home-grown highly trained workers to meet local demand. Colorado is not currently graduating the students to fill the high-skill, high-wage jobs in our region, specifically those in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields. A recent report from the Labor Department showed that 90% of the fastest growing jobs in our economy require education beyond high school. And nearly two-thirds of all the jobs created over the next decade will require a college degree. However, only one-third of our citizens possess a degree. Successful completion of the ETA classes will prepare you to enter the workforce and start your classes toward a degree. You may sign up for individual modules within the program or the entire series of classes.
