College Ready Program

Douglas County School District and Arapahoe Community College have teamed up to offer the College Ready Program for district high school juniors and seniors. DCSD will pay the amount of tuition for each student. That's FREE College!! College Ready Program participants will start college while they are in high school. College credits earned will transfer to any Colorado public college or university, resulting in time and cost savings for the student.

This is an unprecedented opportunity for both juniors and seniors to enroll in college classes and earn both high school and college credit. The classes are actual college-level courses, mostly taught by DCSD teachers who are approved college certified instructors.

All courses transfer to an ACC associates degree or certificate. Students who earn an AA or AS degree from ACC are guaranteed to transfer on to a 4 year state college or university as a JUNIOR status within their degree concentration.
