Assessment

Students are assessed in a variety of ways and are compared to other children in the United States, Colorado and Douglas County. Students are given the CSAP in all grades, which measures student proficiency in relation to standards in reading and writing. Results are available in our annual community report.

Parent Opportunities

Parents are encouraged to get involved at school in many different ways. Committees include BAAC, Parents of the Pine Lane, and our annual Chili Supper with the Primary building. Helpers are needed in the Library assisting students, working on projects for teachers and, of course, class parties.

Student Opportunities

Many opportunities are available for students in addition to academics. Some activities include band, orchestra, choir, outdoor education, spelling bee, hexathalon competition, and after school enrichment.
