Math Curriculum

We use the Everyday Math Curriculum for our math instruction. Everyday Mathematics is a comprehensive Pre-K through 6th grade mathematics curriculum developed by the University of Chicago School Mathematics Project in order to develop life-long mathmatical thinkers.

Please see the presentation to view highlighted aspects of Everyday Math.

Everyday Mathematics is distinguished by its focus on real-life problem solving, balance between whole-class, collaborative and self-directed learning, and emphasis on communication, facilitation of school-family cooperation, and appropriate use of technology. Please see their website for more information.

SRE has also purchased the rights to EveryDay Math games for students to play at home. Also included is an interactive reference book for parents to use to help with at home assignments.
