JIU/DCEF Scholarship Program

Thank you for your interest in the Jones International University (JIU) / Douglas County Educational Foundation (DCEF) scholarship program!  All employees of the Douglas County School District are eligible to apply.  Scholarship recipients will only pay for half of their tuition, plus all books and fees.  The remaining balance will be covered by the JIU/DCEF scholarship.  In today's economy, this opportunity is just the key to unlock your potential!

To participate, qualified individuals need to complete the statement of interest below.  When finished, click on "Send Now" at the bottom of the page to submit.  The DCEF will review submissions and contact scholarship recipients (within 10 days via email) with information on how to proceed.  Recipients will work with a JIU Admissions Counselor (AC) to complete JIU's admissions process.  Once admitted, a JIU Academic Services Counselor (ASC) will assist with course enrollment and will then partner with student throughout duration of the degree program.

Requirements to apply:

- DCSD employee in good standing with Supervisor approval

- Meet Jones International University admissions requirements

- Must select one of the Jones International University degree programs

- Once enrolled, student will connect their project based learning to DCSD
