Open Enrollment Information 

The public schools of Douglas County School District Re. 1 are open to all children of the District. Student residents within the district may apply for enrollment to a program or school outside their normal attendance areas. Students who are residents of Colorado but not resident within the school district may apply for enrollment to a program or school in the district. Approval to attend a school in an area other than that of the student's "assigned school" will, in effect, change the student's "assigned school" to that of the school for which open enrollment was granted. (Board File: JCA/JFB) Open Enrollment for attendance beginning with the 2009/2010 school year at Arrowwood Elementary will commence on Dec. 1, 2008 and end on Jan. 15, 2009. During this time you must submit an Open Enrollment Application which is available at Arrowwood Elementary or on the district web site: www.dcsdk12.org.
