What is TEA?
Trailblazer Educational Alliance is an all-volunteer group of parents,
teachers, and staff working together to raise money to better our
school for our kids.
How does TEA raise money?
Fundraisers include: Box Tops; Entertainment Books / Sally Foster
Sales; Spirit Merchandise, Yearbooks, and special events like the Sock
Hop, Silent Auction, and Welcome Back Celebration.
Where does the money go?
100% of the money earned goes back to Trailblazer for such improvements
as: Accelerated Reading Program and Books; Technology/Computers;
Special Requests from Teachers and Staff; Sports Equipment; Community
Building Events like Red Ribbon Week, Donuts for Dad and Muffins for
Mom; and much more.
Statement of Purpose
Trailblazer Educational Alliance (TEA) exists to enrich the experience
of Trailblazer Elementary students by seeking resources (such as funds,
materials and services), and by directing the use of such resources
toward educationally-focused goals that further the interest of
student, parents and community.
TEA is a chapter of the Douglas County Educational Foundation (DCEF)
which is a non-profit foundation incorporated in the State of Colorado
in 1990 [501 (c)(3) tax exempt status]. DCEF shall provide
administrative support in managing the contributions generated by TEA.
