We take great pride in our volunteers at Eagle Ridge and we support the philosophy of Douglas County School's Volunteers in Partnership which is to enrich our student's educational opportunities by tapping our multitude of available resources. Our school consistently ranks in the top tier of schools with our number of volunteer hours that we log. We usually have around 200 volunteers that sign-up each school year to help volunteer. Dads, Moms, grandparents, non-parent volunteers and some very special Senior employees assist with our volunteer efforts. Activities that we help with are varied: classroom volunteers that help week in and week out in our students classrooms, help with various Physical Education projects (Jump Rope for Heart, Field Day, Fitness testing), working with our librarian, our Art Department and our Music department. In order to participate in our classroom volunteer program you need to complete a Douglas County Volunteer confidentiality form that we keep on file for each classroom volunteer. You can download a form on this site, or contact the front office for the paperwork. I hope to get to know you this school year, I have one son at Eagle Ridge and one son that is a "graduate" of Eagle Ridge. I am passionate about volunteering and thoroughly enjoy my role in the school and the community. My volunteer motto would be this, "together we can make a difference." Please feel free to contact me via email or at home anytime with any questions you have regarding our volunteer program. Thanks for your support and your efforts at our school.
