  Hello,
The DCEF would like to announce that the deadline for Apple Awards nominations will be extended two extra weeks until Monday, November 17th, to allow more time for everyone to nominate their favorite teachers.  

Additionally, to increase the awareness of the Apple Awards nomination process, next Tuesday, November 11th, will be Apple Awards "voting" day. The voting day will help encourage anyone who has not yet voted to"Nominate online today!"  Stickers have been made for all DCSD elementary schools to send a sticker home with each of their elementary students on Tuesday, November 11th.  Furthermore, we ask that middle and high schools coordinate with their school schedules and find an advisement period close to the Nov. 11th date that they could designate as their voting day.  During this advisement period, computers could be made available for students to vote online for their favorite teachers.  

Lastly, please update all websites, infinite campus/parent portal, posters and newsletters with this new extension information and please help get the word out about the November 11th Apple Awards "voting" day!
